Cathy Nolan, wife of Denis Nolan, founder of Mary TV, gives her personal testimony on Mother's Day, May 13, 2012, at the National Conference on Medjugorje at the University of Notre Dame. Since January, 1999, Cathy has been writing a daily reflection on Our Lady's messages (that is 4,000 reflections to date, sent out to a small email list or accessed at www.marytv.tv). Fr. Bertrand Buby, President of the Mariological Society of America insisted that upon receiving her graduate degree in Theology she become a professional member, writing, "She has the unique gift of the combination of a scholars intellect and a mother's heart."

RE: the BBC's recent news report on Medjugorje:
Alan Little came with an agenda. Even before his BBC News crew stepped foot in Medjugorje they had their story: political tensions in Bosnia Hercegovina. Everyone knows that the events of the past 50 years have created an impossible situation for the three ethnic groups in this newly created "country". This is a fault line in eastern Europe that only a miracle could heal. And in Medjugorje, just such a miracle is happening. Forgiveness is one of the great messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje. She calls all her children to forgive and to love. And those graces are real. At the youth festival, an Irish IRA terrorist shared the incredible story of his conversion through Medjugorje and the grace to forgive his enemies. He had actually come face to face in Medjugorje with a British solder he had faught and they had embraced and reconciled. Such incredible graces are available in Medjugorje, through the love of Christ and the presence of His Mother. And yet, the BBC chose to falsely focus on the tensions that exist in BH, falsely assert that there were no Bosnians in Medjugorje for the Youth Festival (we met several) and that Medjugorje was a tool for the Catholic Croatians to stir discontent in BH. They missed the entire point of Medjugorje because they see only with eyes of distrust and human power. It looks to me the BBC's August 20th "news" report on Medjugorje was a first volley against the Church in preparation for their "reporting" on the Pope's visit to the UK next month.
And this underlines the need for MARY TV. Medjugorje shouldn't be at the mercy anymore of established media venues that come with their own agendas... MARY TV is a media outlet founded to put at the service of the Mother of Jesus modern communication technologies to bring her presence in Medjugorje - and her school in Medjugorje - to the world.
In six months time construction of our television station in Medjugorje could be completed , if we had the funds to continue. We need a big donor. PRAY, and please spread word of this need!
